Family Day

Last Sunday, thanks to my 2nd brother and my sister-in-law, we had our family's 1st ever family day. My sister-in-law suggested that we should have one every month...so to start it off, we had our very first family day at their home in Sunway.

I had to pick up my grandmother at Bukit Bintang and my uncle and aunty who coincidentally came back from Perth for holidays. Before picking them up, I went to Low Yat to get back my laptop adaptor wire which the shop forgotten to return me the day before. I sent the laptop for repair a week ago. It cost me Rm 350 to repair the motherboard. Well, at least it's not the Rm1000+ HP is charging me to replace it. Stupid Compaq laptop! I'm angry cos the Laptop's motherboard crashed twice in the span of around 1 year. The first was when it was still under warranty while the second time was few days after warranty...so so sakit hati lor! Anyway...I left it alone for bout 11 months ady since it crashed. I actually brought it to Low Yat to trade it in cos I wanted to get a new Dell laptop, but they only offered around Rm200 to buy it as scrap so I decided to repair it instead. Oh well...at least I have a one month warranty now!

So...after getting the laptop i went straight to pick them up...LATE, as most Malaysians do! And we arrived at Sunway late too! But to our amazement, we were actually the second earliest to arrive...and we were already 1 hour late from the 5pm time that my bro set...its really malaysian culture la! Anyway...when everyone came, we started eating eating and eating. There were meehoon...err....i can't remember the rest(cost my maid prepared meehoon, so that's all i remember)! For appetizer there was...was it mango jelly? I know its something jelly la, but i am sure we had mango for fruits! Then we also had ice-cream chocolate cake...yum yum!(notice the cake below, 1 candle signifying the 1st Family Day)

Had a good time hanging around with all my family members, its been sometime since i last heard the sound of little children crowding around me and crying sounds too, but its nice to experience it again...preparing me for my future i guess....haha!

So that's bout it la for Family Day...looking forward to the next one...i'll probably make it a joint family day-birthday celebration...anyhow, there'll be much more candles, that's for sure!
