Melaka CG Outing - Part 1

I know I am supposed to blog about 'my dad's birthday' and 'the boy that never smiles' first, but I changed my mind and thought I should blog about this first...hehe!
Can't believe I am doing this in the midst of my super busy schedule!

Anyway...I went to Melaka with my fellow Taman Desa CG friends last Sunday and we did loads of stuff...mainly EATING, EATING and MORE EATING!

Well...we did walk around the historical town also la...and also did a fair bit of window shopping, napping and some other stuffs that may sound really silly...haha!

The people that went were :
1. Mark 'Our CG leader'
- aka Marko, because people look up to him, that's why got the 'ko' behind, he said.
2. Isaac
- This guy is known as the Asian Tom Cruise, you'll see why later!
3. Jonathan
- aka Jon Lee...also one of our CG leaders...funny yet makes sense kinda guy!
4. Elaine
- Jon's girlfriend, don't talk much yet, YET....soon she will! haha!
5. Jamie
- aka 'The Surgeon' who still dunno how to operate!
6. Daniel
- aka The Superstar's errr...he is the Milo Nugget Boy la! & also an Angmo Kia! Don't be angry Danby!
7. Edmund
- aka MO, short for monkey...don't ask me why! Ps, the pic at the bottom should explain.
8. Kristy
- MO's sister, also known for her skills of calling peoples name with a sensual tone...like 'Maaarrrk'...can imagine her trademark 'Eiyer' face when she reads this!
9. Jeannette
- aka Jean, debative and recently admitted that she loves the act of service...also has a problematic brother called...see next!
10. Jared
- Loves to show off his semi naked photos to guys and girls alike, he claims that they like to see it as much as he likes to show it...90% nonsense & 10% gay!
11. Dixon
- don't know much bout him yet but knows he is a committed photographer...stood in the middle of the road in Melaka to take pictures of cars driving towards him!
12. Me!
- You tell me! Please comment in the comments box...I wanna know what you think.

Our transport to Melaka, The church's Nissan Urvan 3.0, 14 seater.
The church behind is not FGA btw...it's some Catholic church in Melaka.

The first place we visited when we arrived at the Malaccan town,
The Hainanese Chicken Rice Ball corner shop...
The most famous one in Melaka...debatable!

This is why they call it the Chicken(left pic)...

Rice Ball(right pic)...
first time I ever heard or eaten one!

Immediately after we finished our first round of Chicken Rice Ball, we went for round 2! Just 100 meters away from the Hainanese Chicken Rice shop is the Asam Laksa and Cendol shop!

The table I was sitting at...
5 bowls of Assam Laksa (1 from the other table of weak eaters, they only ordered 2 and still can't finish)
and...
5 Cendols(normal and durian flavoured)

Marko...showing satisfaction at finishing that bowl of Asam Laksa,
I am curious how he was still able to smile considering that he was complaining that it was his 'bang sai' hour at that time!

Everyone was chit chatting off while waiting for the food to digest when the guys and gurls from the other table started to study a picture on the wall of the restaurant...

Someone asked Jared what do you make of that picture, and Jared, not wearing his glasses said that he sees a bird with a backpack containing flowers and also a monkey...at that point...everyone started laughing!

Can you spot the bird with a backpack containing flowers or the monkey?
It took me quite long to spot it!

After all that nonsense, we went for a bit of sight seeing at the famous street of Melaka...
Church Street.

The Famous Christ Church at Malacca's Church Street.
It was built by the Dutch in 1753 and is the oldest protestant church in Malaysia.

The Reptile Man! Notice the white sign beside him?
It says 'No Photograph', Oops!
Mark is afraid of snakes, I think he hid in the Church or something...couldn't find him!

A canon near the church...wonder why...
Guess what is in it...the answer shall be revealed in Part 2
Stay tuned!

to be continued...
