A Brand New Start

This was the result from the April month poll that I set up to get some feedbacks and responses from all my fellow friends to determine my future and although only 9 person did decide to vote or maybe that's the only few people that visits my blog, I did get quite a clear answer with 67% pointing towards Sunway University College.




So 3 weeks back, after I received my transcript from Limkokwing, I went to Sunway to get into the first round of negotiations which is also to examine whether my results and subjects would enable me to enter into the degree course without needing to repeat any particular subjects and thank God there wasn't any problem but I didn't bring my previous semester's transcript so I had to arrange for another meeting.

Then 2 weeks back, I went to limkokwing again to arrange for my course exit which took almost half a day because the lecturer in charge was missing and it was so hard to get a hold of him. After that, I went straight to Sunway again for the second round of negotiations to commence with all my previous results and module outlines all set and ready...everything was running smoothly until the lady that attended to me said that she needs prove that my Foundation is a 2 semester and not a 3 semester which meant that I had to go back to Limkokwing AGAIN just to get a letter to prove it due to the Foundation Certificate not being released yet.

Anyway, today, 2 days to the start of the course in Sunway, I went back to Limkokwing again to get the letter and was surprised that I was arranged by the Foundation leader to meet with the head of school for my business course at his office. He gave me a 1.5-2hour advise to persuade me to stay on asking me questions like why you wanna quit Limkokwing, which University you switching to, why there and what if I can offer a UK degree course for you here also. But I was ready for that and I had already made up my mind. He offered me 2 UK universities which are Bedfordshire and Anglia Ruskin, both of which are less well known and couldn't be compared to Lancaster University in terms of quality and ranking(yes, i did my research!). So after getting the letter I went straight to Sunway to register for the course and luckily this time there wasn't anymore setbacks and I was able to register on the spot.

So yeah, it will be a brand new start for me starting this Thursday and I really do hope that the atmosphere and everything that surrounds the University will be right for me this time around.

It will be as of today.........bye bye Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, I shall not miss you?
