Farewell Outing For Leslie

I Had an outing wif my friends last Thursday, really had a fun time! I was really sick the day before, vomitted and had stomach aches! I think it was because of the food i ate at a "warung"(those mamak's at the side of the road wif a lot of flies) where my driving lesson was held. Anyway, i got up the next day feelingwell enough to go for the outing!

Seet Hoong(bear bear) and I went to Leslie's house to meet up with him. Chester came later on to join us before we left for Mid Valley. Leslie drove his father's jeep like car. The reason we have this outing is to have a final get-together before Leslie leave for Australia to study. When we reached there, we met up with all the other guys at the cinema floor. There were 14 of us in all(Leslie, Seet Hoong, Chester, Wei Xian, Yong Hua, Choon Wah, Ivan, Sze Han, Chun Sian, Wei Yang, Yong Kai, Jeon Khai, Gadiy and me). We bought tickets to watch the Memoirs of a Geisha and bought 17 tickets in all expecting a few more guys to show up! Guest what! They didn't turn up! We had to sell the 4 remaining tickets to some outsiders! The GSC counters didnt want the tickets back so we had to sell the tickets to some starngers on the line! I asked two couples and were able to sell the tickets without too much problem cos it was the debut of the movie.

The show was built up with a lot of hype but it was a total disspointment, let me be honest, it was super duper boring and the show was damn long, its like it never ends! U know when u have a large coke and u are sitting in the cinema for 2 hours plus, what do u feel? Exactly, u wanna pee like hell! Anyways, after the movie, we went for a game of daytona at the arcade, Yong Hua was a real good driver or he acts like one! Then we move on for an hour of pool. Amy then showed up with her new bf(i guess) to present leslie wif a farewell gift! she left almost immediately, and we continued having fun till the 1 hour was over!

After the game of Pool, the boys went to shop for clothes in a few of the stores for the upcoming chinese new year. To be serious, this was the first time i see guys, not girls shopping to a level where girls would be proud of! Chester, Yong Hua, and Choon Wah were digging for their clothes in a steel container where they sold clothes ranging from Rm19.90-49.90! Maybe they thought they were at a pasar malam or something! They took hours to choose their clothes that a few of the guys opted to make their way home. Leslie, yong kai and myself went for dinner at the food court while waiting. Chester then joined us after his shopping frenzy with the rest of the shopping animals, the other 2 went home. We then finished our meal and waited for Leslie's dad to give us a ride home!

It was truly an awesome day as all of us get to meet up again after the SPM, really hope we can do this often, dont wish to lose all my close friends as time moves on! Oh well, just wanna end this by wishing Leslie all the Best and God Bless! Friends forever!

Awful Driving Lesson

I was really sick 3 days ago, and i mean really sick! I had sorethroat and flu, then it spread towards the whole body and i had fever, cough, and headache. But as usual, when satan attacks my body, I'll just pray over it and it will get better. This time it got better within hours! I believe it could have been a lot faster had i spend more time praying instead of staring at the computer and television! Thinking back, i actually haven't seen a doctor for at least 3-4 years for medical purposes. Everytime I am sick, my mum would just pray for me and it would be healed. Praise the LORD! All i need to do is to believe that Jesus heals!

Ok, to my main story, I had my second driving lesson yesterday and i was really looking forward towards it! My lesson started at 8 in the morning, I hopped into the car and as I expected I was asked to drive all the way to Cheras where the examination venue was. I took a big breath, collected all my thoughts and started driving, i made a few little mistakes on the highway as we were on the way there.

When we reached the destination, I was taught on how to do the uphill thing, the parking as well as the three point turn. I only learned it in this lesson because the instructor only gave me on-the-road drive training in the first lesson. As i did my first uphill try, the engine died off at the peak because i let go of the clutch by just a liitle bit too much, i didnt do it on purpose, it was because... as i let go of the handbrake(it was really hard as it was pulled to the max) my leg somehow lifted up a bit, to be honest, it was body reaction(ok maybe the sit was pulled a bit too far away from the pedals), there was nothing much i could do! This happened on the second try as well! The instructor got really pissed off and kept saying things like "if u don't listen to what i say, then u go find somebody else to teach u, u keep answering yes, ok, i understand, but u still do it wrongly", and stop cutting me in the middle of my sentence"(all in cantonese of cause)..........Maybe its just the pressure u get when u teach people driving! Anyways, there was just no way i could connect with him, just imagine, everytime i tried to explain to him my problems and mistakes during the drive, he would say that I 'cap zui'(cut in the middle of his sentence), if i say ok whenever he tells me something, he would say "u keep saying ok but u still dont understand." See! There just wasn't any way i could explain to him the problems that i was facing!

Then of course there were some incidents during the parking part as well, he explained to me once on h0w to do it(it included 6-7 steps in total), then as usual i screw up once or twice and he gets really angry again! After another 2 tries he got mad and went out of the car to smoke while i just continued practising my parking. The minute he went off, i started driving so smoothly without making any mistake. I think he was amazed as well when i saw his reaction! Anyway he came back into the car just after i finished my 3-point turn. After that, we headed back to Taman Desa with me driving again of course. Throughout the whole journey, i just kept my mouth shut cos i know whenever i open my mouth he would say something bad about it. Midway, to my amazement, he said to me,"isnt this good, dont 'cap zui' next time.....bla bla bla!" When I reached home, all I was thinking about was to quickly finish my remaining 2 lessons with him and take my driving exam on the 23rd this month. I will try me best not too make many mistakes the next time i meet him as i dont want him to be able to criticise me saying that i am an amateur driver and not ready for the driving exam...I am honestly not angry with him but i just think that as a driving instructor, he should have more patience as he knows he is teaching a beginner, not a pro! Ah, doesnt matter, ok i am done typing here!

So Much For A New Car...

The year couldn't have ended worst for me! Just a few days ago, my mum went to collect my new car at Maluri, it was the31st of December, the car was a kembara(latest design, CT Aero, sounds sporty, looks sporty!), we had the car glass tinted, and then my mum discovered that she forgotten to bring cash along and the shop don't accept credit cards! We had to draw money from a bank. We walked to a nearby bank, it was after bank working hours, and my mum said that she only had credit cards and no ATM cards! As a result, the owner had to follow us back to get the cash, he drove his car and my mum drove mine as i havent acquired my driving licence.

Ok, now to the bad part! On the way back from Maluri to Taman Desa, Something weird happened, the car was only going from 40-60km/h on highways, i asked my mum to hit the accelerator but the engine got really loud! When we arrived at taman desa, there was an uphill road and the car was going at only 20kmh! I had heard of comments from my friends and relatives saying that the kembara engine is weak in power and stuff but i was never too bothered by those comments until that minute, i almost regretted buying the car! Anywayz, after paying the guy, we went to shell patrol station to fill the car with fuel. When we reached home again, 'here's the interesting part'.......
something caught my eye, The 'HANDBRAKE', it looked like it was still up!(we actually saw a red light on the speed meter monitor but we thought it was becos D car was low on fuel or something else, now i know what it is!)
I asked my mother if she let go of the handbreak.........
Her reply was.......Auto cars have handbreak?
I was like.......words can't describe la! Is it that she is too used to manual cars or that she never knew auto cars have handbreaks or if its just a dumb question to get her out of all the trouble!
Anywayz, the car was so so so much smoother after we tried driving letting go of the handbreak!

After that horrific incident, I only allow myself to drive the car! However i have to wait till the end of the January month when i get my licence, thats if i pass on the first try! Looking forward to that day!
